يحاول البحث من خلال تجربة الأديب عبد الجواد خفاجي في روايته "بغل المجلي" أن يدفع المتلقي ليعيش تجربة الروائي الإبداعية في مجابهة الخرافة، وفضح البيئة الغارقة في التخلف في شکل فني مبدع، والکشف عن جماليات توظيف الموروث الثقافي الصوفي في النص الأدبي- حيث استدعى الروائي صورًا وملامح وأمکنه ومسافات متداخلة بعضها مع بعض، ممتزجة في إناء واحد، تکشف لنا عن الواقع المؤلم الذي يعيشه السواد الأعظم من أبناء صعيد مصر, ولأن مهمة الأديب تختلف عن مهمة الفيلسوف، فهو مطالب بأن يعکس صورًا من الواقع المؤلم.
The research, through the experience of the writer Abdul-Jawad Khafaji in his novel "Baghl Al-Majali", tries to push the recipient to live the novelist's creative experience in confronting the myth, exposing the environment mired in underdevelopment in a creative art form, and revealing the aesthetics of employing the cultural heritage in the literary text - where the novelist summoned images The features, places, and distances that overlap with each other, mixed in one container, reveal to us the painful reality experienced by the vast majority of the people of Upper Egypt. And because the task of the writer differs from the task of the philosopher, he is required to reflect images of the painful reality.
