تحليل نقدي لمشکلتي حرية الإرادة والوعي وعلاقتهما بالواقع المادي عند جون سيرل

يتناول البحث مشکلة حرية الإرادة عند فيلسوف العقل جون سيرلJohn Searle بوصفها مشکلة يستحيل حلها حاليًا، حيث يضع التأکيدات التي تتأسس على خبرتنا النفسية بوجود فعل حر مقابل التأکيدات العلمية الحديثة عن حتمية کافة الأحداث الواقعية کنقيضين غير قابلين للتوفيق بينهما، وفقًا للتطور العلمي الحالي. کما يظهر البحث علاقة مشکلة الإرادة الحرة بتصوره عن الوعي الذي يدعي سيرل أنه قد أسس وجوده على العمليات الحتمية للدماغ. ويوضح البحث تحديد سيرل للإرادة الحرة بوصفها اختيارًا واعيًا ينتج عنه قرار لا يمکن تأسيسه سببيًّا من خلال إظهاره لما يطلق عليه الفجوة بين ما ندرکه من أسباب للفعل وبين قرار الفعل نفسه. کما نقوم في البحث بتوضيح تحليله النقدي للاتجاهات الفلسفية والتفسيرات العلمية التي تتناقض مع رؤيته تلک. وقمنا بتقديم تصوره عن حرية الإرادة في ارتباطه بالتصورات الأساسية في فلسفته، مثل: الحتمية، واللاحتمية، والوعي، والأنا، وغيرها. ويقدم البحث تحليلا نقديًّا لتصوره عن الإرادة الحرة والوعي في علاقتهما بالواقع المادي، وأوضحنا فيه التناقضات التي يقع فيها تصوره عن مشکلة الإرادة الحرة والحتمية من ناحية، وإدراجه للوعي داخل حتمية العمليات النيروبيولوجية للدماغ من ناحية أخرى.
The study examines the problem of the free will in the work of the philosopher of mind John Searle as a problem that is currently impossible to solve. Searle argues that the assertions that are based on our experience that free will is an actual event, and modern scientific assertions about the determinism of all real events as irreconcilable opposites. The study explores the relationship between freedom of the will and conscious, which Searle ontologically associates with the material processes of the brain. It shows that free will for Searle is a conscious choice that cannot be causally explained. This is what Searle calls a gap between what we know are reasons for action, and the decision to act itself. Also we will explain in this research his analytic critiques to other trends in philosophical and scientific explanations. We further introduce his contribution on freedom of will in relation to other primary concepts in his philosophy like: determinism, consciousness, ego, amongst others. Finally, this study critiques Searle’s theory on free will in relation to materialist reality, showing contradictions in his analysis of determinism on one side, and his inclusion of consciousness within bran neurological processes on the other.
