أثر بنية العقل العربي في الدراسات الأدبية عند سليمان العطار؛ "مقدمة في تاريخ الأدب العربي" نموذجًا

تناولت هذه الدراسة المشروع النقدي لسليمان العطار في كتابه "مقدمة في تاريخ الأدب العربي، دراسة في بنية العقل العربي"، وهو مشروع سار في اتجاهين أساسيين عنده: اتجاه الدرس التطبيقي للأنواع الأدبية، الذي وظف فيه عددًا من الأدوات الإجرائية مثل آليات علم الأسلوب والتناص والموتيفة، داخل الدوائر الثقافية والحضارية ليربط النصوص في نسيج يجمع الرسمي بالشعبي والقديم بالحديث دون تمييز إلا من خلال طبيعة تناول الموضوع الأدبي وكيفيات تشكله لغويًّا، وهو ما قام به في دراساته عن نشأة الموشحة، والمعلقات السبع، والشعر الصوفي، والموتيف بين الأدبين الفردي والرسمي، أما الاتجاه الثاني فتمثل في الدعوة التنظيرية إلى إعادة كتابة تاريخ الأدب العربي بالإفادة مما قدمه بالفعل في دراساته التطبيقية، وهي الدعوة التي بيّن فيها أنّ كل المشكلات المنهجية في دراسات الأدب العربي والتأريخ له نابعة في الأساس من طبيعة البنية العقلية العربية (الشرقية أو الجنوبية) وسماتها التي لعبت البيئة الجغرافية والعوامل الثقافية والتاريخية والسياسية دورًا أساسيًّا في تشكيلها. وقد غطت الدراسة العناصر التالية:

 This study dealt with the literary critical project of professor Al Attar in his book,” An introduction to the history of Arabic literature”, which is a study in the Arabic mind structure. The study is a project that has two basic directions for the professor. The first is that of the applied lesson in literary genres, in which he employed a number of procedural tools, such as,the stylistics, the intersexuality applied and the motive, within cultural and civilizational circles to connect texts into one fabric issue that could combine the official with the popular ones,and the old with the modern without discrimination. He applied these all in his studies of the Andalus Muashah, The Seven Odes, Suwfi Poetry, and the Motive approach within the personal and official literature.
 The second direction is that of the theoretical call to the re-writing of the Arabic literature history, based on what the he has,already, applied in his applied studies.That call in which the he explained that all methodological problems of the Arabic literature studies and historizing this literature emerge,mainly, from the nature of the Arab mental structure,the Eastern and the Southern ones, alongside with their features that the geographical environment,and the elements of culture, history and politics played a key role in their formation.

The structure of the Arabic mind and its nature of its vision of the world, this is covered within the first part of the book.
The historizing of the Arabic literature and where it goes, that was the second part of the book.
