The imaginary (fictitious) root of words in the Holy Quran
I want to explain to the noble reader in this research: imaginary root of words, which Arabic grammar books did not discuss much, and Arabic grammarians did not reserved a chapter for this subject in grammar sections, because the reader of the Holy Qur’an, Arabic poetry or prose texts may find the name or the joint root but not A given name before it, then he will be confused about the matter.
For this purpose, I dealt with this topic, and cited the sayings of the Arabs in poetry and prose, and then I gathered as many Qur’an verses as possible in which the Imaginary roots of words are evoked. I ask Almighty Allah to help the reader so that he can benefit from it.
The Imaginary root of words is the root that is understood and interpreted through the context of speech, and which grammarians could deduce it through the context of the sentence, and it is the root that understood from the sentence placed before the root or a sentence attached to this sentence by the conjunction and, is interpreted by a root, and it has no rule, nor a letter interpreted from it.
The fictitious root in the Arabic language has been mentioned in prose and poetry a lot, and from what has been mentioned of this type is the saying: لألزمنك أو تعطيني حقي, here إلى أن تعطي is in present tense verb referred to by an implicit أن and that أن I is interpreted by a root, so we have to imagine from the previous sentence a root so that we can attach this root to it.
And from what came in this subject:
Allah the Almighty said: {ولئن أصابكم فضل من الله ليقولن كأن لم تكن بينكم وبينه مودة يا ليتني كنت معهم فأفوز فوزا عظيما}([1]). The interpreted root from فأفوز is الفوز, the ف letter is a conjunction and أفوز is in present tense verb referred to by an implicit أن after the ف letter and is interpreted by a root attached to a fictitious root, that is, ثمة وجودي معهم ففوز عظيم. If we did not consider a fictitious root where can be attached the interpreted root. For that, I tried to collect these roots and analyze them here, and my success is only from Allah.
