سعى هذا البحث إلى قراءة لامية العرب للشنفرى قراءة فنية، وموضوعية، وقد جاء البحث في مقدمة ومحورين، تناول المحور الأول مفهوم القيم العربية التي تواضع عليها العرب (ونظرة الشاعر)، أمّا المحور الثاني، فقد رکّز على الإشارة إلى الموضوعات الفنية وربطها بموضوع القصيدة. 
The Arab (Lamiya): A Technical Objective Study
This study aimed at providing a technical objective explication of Al- Shanfara's Arab (Lamiya).
The study consists of two parts in addition to the introduction. The first part deals with the Arab ralues generaly a greed upon by Arabs at that time?
While the second section consentrates on explicating technical and objective subjects relating them to the main theme of the poem.
